Do not force a blade through tangles or tight matting. Keep the blade flat, use light pressure and check its temperature regularly. Stop if the dog is uncomfortable or the blade pulls.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBrush away hair, follow the cleaning and drying instructions for the blade, and oil the cutting surfaces before use and as needed during grooming.
